Hello, My name is Tom Harper. I'm mostly a classical guitar builder but enjoy flamenco and plan to begin my first full on flamenco instrument in a few weeks. I've built a couple of flamenco/classical "crossovers", but never attempted an instrument that has a strong flamenco sound.
I've heard good things about this forum and see good things as a lurker. I hope that I am able to be a helpful member at some point and don't ask too many boring questions.
RE: Hello from Almo, Idaho (in reply to JonathanMtz)
Hi, i've played off and on for about 45 years, but have hand problems that make consistent playing problematic. Fortunately, the problems don't affect building nearly as much, and i am more a builder than a player. hopefully i will make some playing progress this summer. how long have you been playing?
