Juan, it was a nice one. Sorry I could not reply earlier, I had a bit of guitar trouble to take care of. I think there were some little things that could be added to make it better, mostly transcription issues.
I am attaching my work in progress fresh version. Just tried to record it and found out that performance mode introduces a lot of tension into my hands which makes it almost impossible to execute certain passages. Need to work on relaxing. Also, the resgueados in this version are not what I normally play (nerves, again). I don't include the minera that precedes it.

No worries Grisha. I guess I should've left it up but anyway it's time to use VLC. I'm gonna use your video to grab some stuff. You really captured the Fandango aire perfectly. I like how you add those picado runs starting at 2:24 which Paco used in his later performances. Congratulations...

Wow guys! Thanks so much for your comments! It is still very unpolished and I still need to feel the ending of the first falseta. I've been changing this one in the past few days. But I really appreciate your comments. I feel a bit more confident now.

Wow! Thanks you guys! I don't worry about my hands, it's always my head... and nerves. Any tips on how to deal with stage fright, especially right before coming out on stage? There is always a 3-5 minute space where you can't play and just wait for the announcer to finish.

Sure ditch the talent, the love of music and the desire to please. The stage fright will vanish.
Failing that prepare to the utmost of your ablility........... oh you are rather good at that already.
Advice from an old teacher of mine emulate the day itself in the preceding days. Make your routine match the day of the concert. Force yourself to play at the same time as the concert with the same warm up you can reasonably expect on the day...... all the way through ignoring mistakes.
And try and make the concert day as much like your regular schedule as is reaonable, have the same amount of caffeine (no more). Try and eat at your normal times and permit yourself rest. Do your nails the day before and leave them. Laugh off any gamesmanship by overcompetitive fellow performers. Remember that no matter that in the moment a passage might seem to fall short of your hopes if you allow yourself to savour the next one the audience will too. In short look forward as much as you can.
And also remember that you carry all our best wishes which you have earned with hard work and natural decency. And not just the bigmouths who type too fast but your silent admirers too.

Thanks for that, David. Some of these things I already started doing, like emulating the performance. I walk across the room and bow before running my program, and take a bow after each number. The only thing is that the time zone is 8 hours different from my current location, so everything will feel different the day of the concert.

Grisha, I wanted to press "REPORT THIS POST AS INAPPROPRIATE" on your post when I finished watching the video to report the inappropriate amount of work you put in to achieve this level of technique and musicality.. Also, I don't think you need any advice on stage fright if you have managed to deliver such a spectacular performance at Tchaikovski Hall which is one of the scariest venues on this planet IMO.. :)

I can offer no advice. It has been decades since I performed for an audience of any size.
But I will say you really impressed me in the master class the last time you were in Austin. I have been to more than a few master classes over the years, but I had never seen a teacher address the problem of nerves directly. Usually they try not to comment on the issue, but attempt by various tactics to put the student at ease.
The youngest and least experienced student clearly was nervous. When she finished, your first utterance was, "You're were nervous, weren't you?"
She admitted she was. You proceeded to give her some good advice.
I thought, "Good for you, Grisha, addressing the issue directly and giving advice."

I use my Logitech 920 webcam. It works great for online lessons. Just is terrible for recording.
I have a Behringer mixer and Neumann, AKG and Октава mics. It's just they are all stored as I have been preparing to move for the last year or so. I also travel all the time, so my equipment is not with me.
And anyhow, I never really learned to record well. I experimented quite a bit, but never really found the perfect setup. By the way, I downloaded the Foro article some time ago, but it did not clear everything up for me.

You should switch to the C930e Logitech webcam, Grisha. It is much better in my opinion with the super-wide angle view (which captures the entirety of the guitar rather than a segment of it). That makes it much easier for online lessons so you don't have to move or re-adjust the camera. The best software I found to go along with that is Webcam Companion 4 because the C930e is a "business" model & therefore it does not come bundled with software (and Logitech Webcam Software does not work well with it).
For the mic, I find the best setup for simplicity, portability, and quality is the MXL .009 USB microphone. Just plug & play, and it integrates with your current Logitech camera & software, as well as with the C930e & Webcam Companion 4. I totally understand your practicality issues & I was confident you had great mics but you don't use them for the reasons you mentioned. I found that to be a barrier which got in the way of me making decent recordings, so I switched to the MXL .009 USB microphone and I never looked back...

Duende man....I cannot imagine how it is possible to learn this piece & then play it so perfectly. The technique & ability to play this piece is beyond most of us....I for one am still struggling with Aires Choqueros and it has taken me 4 months to get 1/3 thru the song & be able to stay in compas....this song is way beyond Aires Choqueros & you make it look so easy!
Congrats on your beyond awesome playing.
By the way, Jimmy Hendrix & I were wondering when are we going to hear originals by the great Grisha???
I would be very interested in a CD of all originally composed music....remember what Sabicas told young Paco....
