I'm going to try to take little break from the Foro to chill out. I don't like the person I'm becoming by getting further embroiled in certain conversations. I don't think there is a problem with the Foro, I think I'm having a difficult time being nice.
I'm gonna have a mini break or in Japanese a 'hitoyasumi' ha ha.
I need to stay connected to the pulse of selling guitars obviously, and showing my work. I'm going to try reviving this old blog I started for myself and post my work there. I think lots of guitar makers are doing this now.
Check it out if you like, and if not, not. I'll be putting more pictures of my current projects on the blog over the next few days. And I Spring cleaned the shop today, which is good.

Stephen,
I hope you're still reading the posts on the foro. I had a similar experience to you after dealing with [edited by Admin] but decided it was easier to ignore his posts and just read the interesting stuff. I hope you return soon and wish you a profitable and uplifting vacation from the foro.
o me you were fine. I enjoy your posts, and most banters that go to-and-fro that seems to have ignited a few issues recently.
Pity it has degenerated to a certain degree on a few occasions.
Thank you, the Foro and I nave been dating for years and sometimes we just need a bit of space to make the relationship work.
As promised I updated my blog and I'll keep it updated, this should help me be more clear about what is Foro worthy and what is best left off the board.

I know this feeling very well and i agree. A break is the best. I will be taking my yearly summer break very soon. Its going to be needed. I have not felt very good on the forum this year. I dont know if its me or the foro or just to many years of being here. So, I hope you enjoy other things. In the end the foro is just a virtal image of the world and there are thousands of other things to do in real life.
Perfectly understandable. Now, when you come back, just do as I do (and plenty of others I suspect) and just ignore any politics, religion and any post you consider to be the work of an idiot. So, there's plenty to ignore, but its just not worth getting involved.
The forum has plenty of good things going for it but, remember, its not real life.

Just so you know, to others the ones appearing as idiots could possibly be yourselves. Here excerpts from yesterdays messages:

Hi Ruphus.
I can see on the foro that some members believe you will be banned. I hope thats not going to happen. Even though I disagree with you and sometimes find you lack respect, I think you have a place here on the foro.
Hi Ruphus,
Predictably, I find your posts full of ideas. I'm afraid to say that much of what you say is miles over their heads. I have enjoyed your contributions very much indeed, brimming with original thought borne of a unique perspective.
I will have a look for your posts, and a couple of others, from time to time.
I was appalled that some consider your posts as offensive. I hope you do keep posting. They do not deserve you.
Ruphus mate, they got it the wrong way around. People are rude to you. That imbecile that constantly criticized your English with his weasel words. Education cannot mask lack of intelligence.
And Stephen, thanks for generously distancing yourself from [edited by Admin] kind approach.
This is not to become a continuation of the sniping on the recent voting thread. It is not about any specific individuals, so let's keep names out of it. I take that up in private messages which, remain private. Have a little fun Stephen, this place has a negative effect on a lot of us right now and I hope we can change that.
