Blimey! The only time I've broken a nylon string is when I was putting new strings on (usually high E). Must try and play harder ;-)

I use Savarez Cantigas mostly at the moment (which is what the Tomatito's are, albeit with a swapped alliance 3rd) and have had no problems at all.

My hand seems to be better, thanks! No clue as to why after 2 months it is apparently improving. I only used Savarez strings in Japan, as the high humidity level made my regular strings sound duller.

I used to think that common plastic won´t absorb water.
However, your tooth brush proves how nylon interacts with it. Therefore I sometimes swap between two brushes, so that one can recover until next use / its bristles may dry and return to stiffness.

Learned something new. Every day is a bad hair day, here in the swamps of Louisiana. Might have to switch back to Savarez.
