Hi there, from another newbie. I had a playing-gap of five years up 'till three years ago, so - we're all human. Glad you're playing again!

Welcome, Creem!

Do you know "Triatma"?

Not flamenco, but I liked the project and its extract of Indian instruments and style.

Welcome!

My best advice would be to listen to Canal Sur's Flamenco Radio. As a newbie to the genre you'll learn more about flamenco there then any Paco De Lucia album.

Feel free to ask questions though!

Thanks I googled it and got the website. Don't see any online radio :(.
I am inspired my The Bands like Gypsy kings, Los Lobos. Recently I have heart some very authentic Flamenco pieces on the net and wanted to really learn it.

EDIT: I got it listening to it right now Its amazing http://alacarta.canalsur.es/directo/ver/flamenco-radio
I hope this is the right station

That is exactly the channel, that channel is very legit. That IS flamenco.

On this forum this is generally the music we are referring to.
