OutRun and Over the Rainbow?...

I arranged this medley yesterday and recorded it this afternoon... a bit of a strange combination -- "Passing Breeze", a tune from the 1986 arcade hit OutRun (developed by SEGA), and "Over the Rainbow", which needs no introduction...

Very nice, Daniel. You played one as an intro to the other. When I first read the description I was reminded of Chet Atkins’ song entitled Yankee Doodle Dixie. He played both melody lines at the same time. One was used as the bass line for the other. Considering that you are such an advanced player, and you like challenging yourself, you might try doing this with two of your favorite songs--or better--the melody lines of two well-known, traditional songs.

This is a super cool idea, I'll have to try it for sure!

I liked it too.

Especially the way you really PITCHED the melody in SOTR.

And a funny coincidence I first fell in love with Bach from the oldschool ZXspectrum game Sabrewulf, which I still play(along with every pianist ever).

Thank you! The developers of Sabre Wulf -- Rareware -- are one of my favorites. :) I grew up on the Nintendo 64, which had many of their best games... Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Jet Force Gemini, Donkey Kong 64, Perfect Dark, etc...
