Some Requinto music played on guitar

I just wanted to post this. It's the intro to "Odiame" played by Los Tres Reyes...

Love "Odiame"! Get those Los Reyes and Los Panchos records out and use those chops, my man :)

Awesome! I keep forgetting to tell you, I saw some post where you said Requinto playing helped your picado so I started looking up requinto music and loved it. Bought a Los Tres Reyes album, and made a requinto play list on youtube, great stuff. Thanks for exposing me to something new and great!

Hey Thanks Miguel. Glad you enjoyed that. Those trios are for sure timeless. :)

@Lenador: Yeah, requinto playing uses mostly rest stroke so it certainly helped with respect to playing picado! I'm happy to have lend a hand man.

I actually had a teacher for this style of music. Everything I learned from him was by just watching him play. I still remember a few things but that was such a long time ago. You can use VLC media player to slow it down or I can make a slower version if you like. There is a nice Pasillo called "Monica" that I might upload soon and maybe get Ramzi to play the second guitar part if he is up to it.

We are the dynamic duo, hombre. Vamonos! (just don't give me the part with the 200 BPM picados, because that's too slow for me)
