WANTED: BROKEN/DAMAGED GUITARS WITH...

As part of my luthiery course, we get to bring in broken or damaged guitars and try to repair them under the supervision of luthiers. If any members in the England/UK have any damaged Flamenco guitars for sale cheaply, please let me know by either posting a response or sending me a private message. Ideally, they should have light to medium damage that is repairable by a professional, and be quite cheap.

Thanks,

James

C'mom James, just get something hard like a screwdriver and snap it down on the top or somewhere else. It's free too.

Apart of that advice, I'm sorry that I think it's rather stupid to fly a guitar up there to you from Singapore.

Yeah, it would be too costly to import a guitar, thats why I specified that it would have to be in the UK. I don't mind spending small amounts though, as I will obviously be able to keep the guitar when it is repaired.
But take a screwdriver to my precious Yamaha.... are you mad?!!!

James,

In the off chance you come across an Eastwood Vox Phantom, even if you aern't doing electrics and just happen to see an old one, I may be interested in buying it and getting it shipped over...assuming it's fixable. I'd appreciate any information about where u have seen them.

Ryan,
actually my luthiery course does cover electric guitars, and I am currently in the process of repairing a Yamaha SG 800. I haven't seen any Vox Phantoms about, but I will definitely keep an eye out and let you know if I do.

Thanks,

James
