Neck movement from dry climate

On one guitar of mine the neck is quite thin without reinforcement and during the winter(the strings were on tension) the neck had increased its "relief" or curvature raising the action by about 0,7mm. Now the humidity is about 45 percent. If the neck wont go back when it gets more humid, is there anything one can do to set it back? I have also thought about changing the fretboard to a 1-2mm thicker one, is there any point in that and should it help?

I think you shouldnt worry in advance, it moves back and forth with humidity.

This weekend my neck moved a lot, I found it at the living room on the couch, attached to the guitar body.

The thing is the action gets so high that the saddle doesnt have any space to lower it to the preferred string height.

You said your problem would be if the neck didnt move again when humidity increases. It seems that your problem is the way it is now. That might need a different approach.

Any luthier thoughts, is there any method to aid the neck in setting back the relief?

This is why you run a humidifier.

Yes, the best thing would be to keep the humidity around 50% and it will probably move back in that environment. All wood moves with changes in humidity all the time--there is no way to prevent it, not with any amount of finish or paint. Patience is required.
