Newbie!

Hello people!

I´ve come across this link on some strange way while I was searching classic sheets, and I came here, a very intressting page!
Since my big passion is music, specially classical guitar music, I didn´t found strange to find this place!
Since most of my mp3z are classic guitar music and jessie cook!
Now, I have to ask you, since I don´t have any flamenco experiance, And I really would like to learn, to breath some other air (then just classic music), I wonder if there are any books here that are freely shared that I can learn!
Any suggestions are welcome!

ANother question is, im using a Esteve guitar (not a flamenco copy), is it possible to play flamenco music without any bigger problems?

I'm also a classical guitarist who has taken up flamenco. Certain flamenco techniques are rather violent, like golpes (tapping) of the guitar top etc. My advice is that you should never tap on a classical guitar. I damaged my first one and there are plenty of fingernail dents in the top, though they're just cosmetic damages. However it's still possible to play flamenco on any guitar. For me I feel like I've to be careful when playing on a classical guitar in fear of damaging it. But this phobia is gone when I'm playing on a flamenco guitar with a golpeador (tap plate/guard).

Flamenco is an art, not simply a style of playing or a characteristic sound. While you can play flashy stuff with flamenco-characteristic techniques, it won't be flamenco until you can feel and play in compas (rhythm).

Anyway, welcome and I hope you enjoy yourself like I did and still do. Flamenco is useful in interpreting some Spanish classical guitar pieces too, eg. Sevilla etc.
