Recommendations on French Polish

I'm looking for any recommendations on what to use on French Polish.

I´m not totally sure what you are talking about.

If you want to clean your FP, a soft cloth is the best. If you want to polish it, you can use car polish or vinyl cleaner. Dont polish to much.
Shellack is extremely tough when it comes to chemicals. But it doesnt like alcohol and water.
IMHO, French polish is the only finish that gets prettyer with age. Especially if you dont polish it. It gets a very nice slightly satin look that looks very natural. And its by far the prettiest that I know and I dont mind a few scratches and dings. As long as its something that doesnt have any influence in the funcionality and preservation of the instrument.

I recommend any kind of waxy furniture polish. In America we have spray-on Pledge and End Dust which I wipe off right away with a soft cloth.

Unless the formula has changed, I'd avoid Pledge like the plague. It used to contain a lot of silicone which can make any finish touchup or repair an absolute nightmare if not an impossibility.
I can speak for Endust. Never used it.
