Yesterday I'd had contact with Geert from La Sonanta (www ). They are goin to record some DVD lessons with Jeronimo Maya later this year. I dont know any details, but I am curious.
(Further, I am not related with La Sonanta apart from that I have to pay for my products.)

RE: DVD Lessons by Jeronimo Maya (in reply to kozz)
that sounds interesting.
however, i saw some videos from a workshop with Jeronimo (quite old videos) and it was more like "show off" than actually teaching. i didn't like that type of "teaching" in a workshop at that time.
i hope this time its much better and i bet its better, if its gonne be a DVD.
i love Jeronimos style

btw, kozz, i knew you were the real boss, the big boss behind all this, Ruben was just a footsoldier (j/k)

Damn. Busted!
Hopefully it'll be a nice dvd, I enjoy his playing style very much. If it is gonna be like the free-lessons the have on their site with some more technical explanation its gonna be ok.

Update:
Since I got caught in the act as the official salesman I'll provide some more details.
Yesterday I've seen a few clips and the structure of the DVD's. It'll be 2 DVD's, 2 books in tab and notation. 4 songs will be completly shown, first in normal tempo with a compas clock running aside. Than half tempo, after that 1/4 tempo and close ups form both hands. Once the song is mastered there will be a dvd juerga with cajon and palma and you can play along. I haven't seen which palos or from which cd, I haven't asked....sorry about that. Also a little bit of technique will be explained, and subtitles will be provided.
Probably somewhere around april or later it'll be available.
The soundquality was very sonourous and had very timbric colours.
