http://www.zavaletas-guitarras.com/files/maldona.htm

i looked for maldonado when visiting Malaga but couldnt find their shop and Malaga didnt exactly inspire me to walk around without a concrete idea of where to go. Apart from that i havent had one in my hands but heard very good things of Maldonado's instruments.

I have a Maldonado, and I am very impressed by it. Excellent workmanship throughout. I do find that I play it preference to my other guitar.

RE: Pedro Maldonado (in reply to Jim Opfer

Hi Everybody! I'm a new guy - actually not new but never wrote to the forum so far..I'm seriously thinkin' about buying a Maldonado, browsed several site, and found that Zavaletas selling his guitars much cheaper than others ( f.ex.:La Falseta - if I remember correctly), but are those the real prices? I mean, has anyone a clue that how much money is the difference between buying the same guitar directly from the shop ( since I live in the EU ) or through internet - shops like Zavaletas? Any more infos / opinions on Maldonado's guitars are welcome! are they any easy to play - guitars? How thick are the neck of his guitars ( I mean not the 52/54mm, but in 'depht') ? Any bad critics? etc
