How did you meet Paco?

I've seen a couple of members post pics of their meeting with Paco after his show. How did you all get backstage to meet him? I'll be seeing him tomorrow but don't have any "connections" that I can think of.

My guess is that they are patrons of the venue, and got invited to a Meet and Greet. ??

Gonna try and knock out an usher and hide him in a closet. Maybe I can get backstage wearing his ushers jacket.

it's hard for me to follow who is who by names at this point - i don't know you guys well enough - stick with your avatars so i know who is who!

RE: How did you meet Paco? (in reply to TANúñez

For me, it was a series of fortunate events.

I didn't have a backstage pass so I was kicked out of the group that was waiting to see Paco.

Someone had left out the door with me and he gave me his pass. Still not sure why, I think he was somewhat embarrassed to try to meet Paco?

The security wouldn't let me back in, so I had to walk around the theatre to another door and get back in.

Once I was in again, there was a whole new set of challenges. The managers said Paco was tired and didn't want to see anyone, and were ushering everyone out.

With a little bit of quick thinking though me and Jason were able to get up to where Paco was and talk to his personal manager.

With a bit more magic, she graciously let us be the last ones out of maybe 5-6 people to meet him. It was brief but quite worth it to be able to shake his hand.

So, in conclusion, if Paco is tired you better make some friends real quick :p

It seems like the manager tells everyone the same thing. "Paco is tired and hungry". Maybe I'll show up with a pillow and some snacks.

So, Doitsu, you were the barefoot guy with the cheap guitar? Should we call you "Prof."?

and 'wiki'. [I have it on good authority that] He can handle a lot of both and still play like that. His monstrosity is all-encompassing.

Cool. I'm at the front and center. I'll just wave the baggie around until I catch his attention.
