Anyone coming to Vegas for Paco?
I'm gearing up for the Paco show here in Vegas next week and wondered if any other foro members are going? If so, I'm presenting the idea of getting together for a drink or something before the show. Just let me know if this is of any interest to any of you...
Heck, if you want to stop over at my place beforehand and BS and play a little, that sounds good too! Bring your ax, and you can also check out my guitars. I would love to have you and can promise free drink and that no one will try to murder you!
It would be a pleasure to meet some other members and jaw a little in person... Like I said, just let me know...

Shawn ".....no one will try to murder you." ??? is that a vegas tradition ? i thought it was the chinese drugged you and then harvested your organs? paco in vegas sounds pretty cool. what venue is he playing? i wonder if he will take in a few shows or hit the tables? that would be pretty cool, sitting next to paco at the blackjack table. have fun and thanks for the input on my sale--the new owner should be getting the dauphin today or tomorrow.

Hey Keith, Glad all worked out with the guitar for you. The buyer is getting a great deal and I truly believe that!
Paco will be at the "Smith Center for the Performing Arts". Yes! Vegas finely has something dedicated to the performing arts! They are only 100 years behind other major cities in that regard. I miss the life back east where you could go out and hear a symphony now and then, or an international musician who played something other than rock or country... There isn't even a jazz scene hear anymore. Its all 80s rock, or one man band doing 70s covers of show tunes... Pretty pathetic...
I'll get some people to be on the lookout for Paco at the tables... A lady I do a lot of work for is a high up at the Smith Center, and I'll have to ask her which hotel they are putting him up in. Maybe he'll do some betting on his Conde...
