Farrucas - settings on the metronome for

Hi All!

Just wondering if anybody could please help me with the metronome settings for Farrucas by Juan Serrano. I have a Korg MA-30 metronome. It is a simple clicking type, with settings for eighth and sixteenth. I have seen somewhere that Farrucas have a four beat tempo.

The current challenge for me is to play the music in correct rhythm. I've tried to set different speeds but still can't get the bpm setting which is at the same speed as the recording.

Thanks,

Is this the Farrucas you are referring to?

Note that the track as per the midi file linked to above is going at about 150 bpm. This is relatively fast if you are still starting out, so I would suggest you slow that down. You can set the metronome (I have the same exact one) to a four-beat pattern where the first beat of each measure would sound different than the other three beats (a different "clicking" sound will be produced by the metronome). It will be easier that I show you instead of describing by text.

Cheers!
