Guys an amazing con artist liar and opportunist. Its amazingly disturbing to me, but in the future a movie about this nut will prove to be quite entertaining

he can't even fool non-guitarists, because everyone will notice the speed up. that whole speed up is funny haha the question is why the hell did he do that? what is he trying to achieve by doing that? is he trying to impress people?
RE: entre dos aguas - what u think? ... (in reply to guido)
Thanks guys for your solidarity Nowadays one has to be careful with that kind of assumptions...but of course one of these poor guys, I think he feels very inadequate...dozens of vids where he claims his guitar teaching method as the only truth, a self-appointed PdL-clone but when it comes to the point there's nothing to see or hear of his virtuosity... Do we one day get rid of these jumpin jacks??
But I feel sorry for his students to feel addicted to him...here in the foro they could get real guitarists and musicians

Let's separate this out a bit..
Obviously fake from the timestamp you said. Why on earth would God's chosen one choose to pull a stunt like that without believing that others (like on this forum) would notice. He either thinks others won't notice, or has power in his belief that he can convince his discliples that the ney-sayers must be wrong.
Just look at he expression on Ruben's Chosen Disciple's faces.. you have to feel pity at the way he has manipulated them into believing in the only true one God, residing in Malaga of all places. They all have the expression of some kind of cult worship. Seriously.
On the other hand, leaving aside the sociopathic/personality issues around El Prof and his Culto - anyone fancy uploading a better interpretation of this song than El Prof himself ?
This is why he beats all his haters hands-down. Show, don't tell.

We don't need to provide an alternate performance of this particular piece. We just need to show that our own playing is more musical than this stiff playing we see here.

Come on, the guy is absolutely insane but on this forum he would definitely be one of the better players (ignoring stunts like this for a moment).

I agree that he has reached a certain level of accomplishment. But something is really missing from his playing. A sense of ease, or "magic" for lack of a better term. Maybe we can say, there's no "duende" in it.
RE: entre dos aguas - what u think? ... (in reply to El_Tortuga)
i agree El Tortuga - doctoring the results is an insult to every flamenco aficionado. He should be ashamed of himself, but almost certainly isn't as he is a sociopath.
As to your comment on his rigidity and musicality.. show don't tell. Upload a version that is looser with more musicality.

Feel free to upload a version with a better sense of ease, magic, and duende.
Show, don't tell.
I understand "show, don't tell", but I'm not particularly interested in putting in the time on that particular piece, I trust you understand. Drop by my site and let me know what you think of the videos I have posted there for instructional purposes.
RE: entre dos aguas - what u think? ... (in reply to guido)
What if somebody wants to play some other kind of guitar in one of his videos The fact alone that he has all of his students brainwashed into playing those grotesque guitars is a testament to his dictatorial, self-promoting and egomaniacal character. I really don't give a **** if he is a good musician, honestly his playing does nothing for me and I don't think he brings anything new to the table at all.

He is in reality a phenomonal player.....The issues everyone has had with him are his unethical practices.....
its very true. I understand why he does what he does (he has many problems)....but I never thought he would take it as far as speeding up a video.. that is just too far!

I agree , all the "new" stuff he brings in is super modern jazzy fusion flamenco **** that makes no sense at all , if you have seen that stuff
