Ciao Giambattista, sono inglese ma vivo in Canada. It sounds very nice where you are - some friends of mine went to Puglia and told me that it's a very interesting and beautiful area. The only part of it that I have experienced (so far) is negroamaro which is very good!
oh yea. The Negramaro ( wine and famous Italian band from the Salento:) Puglia is simply heaven. Fatastic food, sea, and above all PEOPLE:) i'm not gonna mention Pork.. I'll leave the typical plates taste to you imagination:))
@Giamma: may be this summer i could make it and i'll be so glad to finally meet you. Such wonderful people are so rare to find these days
Ciao Wael

This is hard stuff! Don't give up... And don't make it a race. Enjoy the ray of sunshine that comes with every new step in knowledge.
i was an altar boy as a kid..... the only times we didnt eat pork was on good friday.... some of the hardcore catholics I know go without it on the sabbath also
Maybe in the future you can meet a woman that is unaware that she is oppressed, feels unable and limited in her ability to express and make decisions. Is not free to share the experience of any mistakes she has made, and feels undeserving of forgiveness. Lives in fear of ridicule, feels at the mercy of other peoples judgement, and is so full of shame that she doesn't feel comfortable to get undressed in front of you.
Some of the most open, fun, kind, most genuine and most forgiving people i have ever met, have slept around and fall under your category of "shameless". I'm happy to hang out with people like that any time.
I can't stand Anchovies. Is there any Religion that forbids Anchovies? Don't like Turkey much either (which would probably disallow me from ever becoming a U.S. citizen..)
So that's it. A Religion that prohibits the consumption of Anchovies and Turkey and I'm yer man!
at the end, I have one thing to say: shinjitsu wa itsumo hitotsu / Solo hay una verdad /There is 1 truth that will prevail.
at the end, its up to you whether you want to believe if pigs are clean or unclean.
You seriously bring up a bigoted televangelist and con artist as your "evidence"?
Anyway considering how enthusiastically you stick to the nonsense you spout maybe you should become one of those guys yourself, I hear there's a lot of money in it.
sorry KMMI77 you are not making any sense. I would not want a woman like that anyway.
I know. I was just saying that IMO, being judgmental of others behavior and choices, can easily create those suppressive feelings in them. And these feelings surely do more harm than some pork?
I know we all do it, being judgmental i mean. But at least by being aware of it every now and then, we can try to do better.
did I ever say that this video is my "evidence" ? I just asked a simple question, did you ever watch this video? answer should be yes or no. its funny how you guys distort thr thoughts and analyze the question LOL LOOOLL!!
theres is always 1 truth, this sentence is a general statement, nothing to do with the video.
at the end, no matter what you say, I will always believe that there is no doubt that pigs are unclean. you never presented strong evidence to support that pigs are clean, and you can not possibly do so.
I personally have very strong reasons to believe that pigs are unclean. Its useless to keep talking about this stuff, so at the end it really is up to you to believe they if are clean or unclean. I have not presented my core strong reasons, and I never will because its an extremely long topic, and at the end its just a waste of time and effort.

if there's lots of money in it, why don't you do it then? im sure you have beliefs/ideas that are complete nonsense to some people
some of the replies here are just too funny
To have a different opinion is fine but perhaps you should reconsider your condescending know-it-all attitude before you become the laughing stock of this forum (if you haven't already).
As far as "proof" goes, the burden of proof lies with you, not with us. So far, you've "backed up" your little "theory" by a bizarre mixture of copy & paste from religious nutjobs, some very embarrassing (and contradictory) "I-didnt-really-mean-it-that-way" backpedaling and endless vague nonsense like "there is no doubt that pigs are unclean".
I'm very sorry to hear about your religious indoctrination and the utter lack of reason and intellect it has brought upon on you. I truly wouldn't wish that on anyone.
There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know.
It's always those freakin' unknown unknowns that cause me trouble every time, personally speaking..
