lol flamencos can't resist to express their art wherever they're
btw I liked the look on the passengers' faces .. they were like " wow those gypsies are so cool I wanna capture that on my phone "

I hate vueling, the other day I was going to take the plain along with with Jose Antonio Rodriguez and they insisted to put our guitars down. I'm used to buy a seat for my guitar, but this flight was so expensive.. they were quite a**holes and very strict about that, where I ve had with other companies that they let you take it with you even if you didn't book a seat

I'd hate that if I was on an airplane.

It's like those a-holes in the library who can't stop chatting on their stupid cell phones. It's very inconsiderate to the others - I think the flight attendants should have stopped it.

The passengers didn't even know that they were watching one of the greatest bailaoras of all time, who has performed all over the world, and they didn't even have to pay.

Too bad her long time partner the great late Antonio Gades couldn't have been there to join her. That would have been a show.

I think it's pretty self-evident what it means. Go back and read it again.

Yeah,..a flight always comes together with pain in the neck,..you are tired, the seats are awful..bad food.. you sit next to the naked sweaty armpit of a fatty and other annoying things.. Juergas are basically cool. But not at such a place. Normally very cool but there *dislike. I agree with Yojimbo.

There are places where people should just stfu and fit their asses in the god damn seat. ;PPP hehe

Yeah, it is almost as annoying as people coming into a flamenco chat and saying doing flamenco is inconsiderate.

Yes, that would be annoying I agree. But not quite as annoying as a someone who intentionally misinterprets a post so he / she can respond with a sorry attempt at a put down.

Oh sorry man. For a minute I thought you were saying CRISTINA freeking HOYAS dancing in your vicinity on a plane was as inconsiderate as a-holes using cel phones in the library. But you were just joking??????

oleeeeeeee hahahaha,

I wish I was on this flight,

I used to study in UK ( for five years ) , on each year I go back to my country twice, more than one time my mates asked me play my guitar on the plane, so when I move from my seat and take my guitar from the overhead cabinet , open the case, suddenly the air host rush to me saying ( YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY GUITAR ON THE PLANE).

but one time I played guitar on a train from Edinburgh to Wrexham, ole

I experience folks grown up exclusively with oriental diddle who find western harmonics like with Pink Floyds "Wish you were here" and other of the great international hits etc. to be "sounding wrong in a way".
And kids grown up with nothing but monotonous hiphop and techno usually don´t show much receptive to music either.

From there its is thinkable that there could be sorrow ears on a plane who would perceive flamenco as not much more than `atonal´noise.

I wouldn´t think that one should be considerate about such ignorance, however on the other hand about possible travellers, who could be dead tired / wanting to sleep.

Oh dear! On one certain occasion that was me.
Mabe not really fat, but certainly smelling like a cougar.
On a transcontinental trip of over 24 hours without opportunity to refresh and after damn sprints with heavy baggage in the summer heat.

Boy, was I embarrased at the last short distance flight, asking passengers in advance to pardon me! >blush<

Nice find Ahmad, thanks for posting! I don't imagine there are too many people on this FLAMENCO FORUM that would have a problem with Cristina Hoyos having a little dance on their flight

Hey, I just discovered there is a block/ignore feature on this site! OLE

Not sure how I'd feel about being on a 'plane.

But I remember (in 1958/9? ) being on a train ride during the night from the French border to Madrid, and a group of gypsies got it going in the corridor, playing, singing and dancing Fandanguillos (I think - dont remember too clearly?).

It was a wonderfull and spontaneous experience. Until the ever-present Guardias Civiles (always two on every train - loaded rifles!) broke it up.

This was during the 'dark days' of the Franco regime. I became accustomed to being searched every time I travelled by train. Including my guitar case and rucksack.
