Gino D'Auri Guitar

Hi Folks,

I was wondering if anybody happens to know which guitar Gino D'Auri (RIP) used in recording Flamenco Mystico? I really like the clarity of sound.

TIA,

Alex

According to the liner notes,
tracks 1, 3, 5, & 8 are 1967 A. Fernandez
tracks 4, 6, & 7 are 1970 Ramirez
track 2 is both

Cheers,
Norman

Addendum:

The Fernandez is a blanca. I don't know about the Ramirez.

I was friendly with Gino D'Auri when I was living in Los Angeles in the seventies. I had reviewed some dancers that he was accompanying, and we got together a few times. This was a long time ago, but I think at the time he was playing a Ramirez blanca, so maybe that's the same one on the record.

He was a fine accompanist, and I recall having specifically mentioned his accompanying in my review.
