advanced tab books? 
Does anyone have any good suggestions for advanced tab books? Sadly my ear is nowhere near my playing ability (not that any of them are particularly good). I own JMs guitar solos both volumes and most of Juan Serranos stuff, anything else recommended?

There’s a whole slew of stuff out there now:

• At the intermediate level, Paco Peña’s Toques Flamencos.
• If you don’t mind spending the big bucks, all Lucía’s early stuff.
• Claude Worm’s transcriptions of Manolo Sanlúcar.
• The Encuentro Productions series of book/video combos.
• Alain Faucher’s books & tabs (affedis.com), including Sabas’s El Rey del Flamenco.

Go amazon, choose Books and search on Flamenco.
Then try Flamenco Connection and encuentro.ch.

For lots of free stuff, Google "flamenco tabs".

If you can learn to read staff notation then there’s a lot more.

yea that is a very nice book I like it and played most of it

one of the foros over here sent me another book of Paco Peña has trascription of mantilla y peina , arabesca , la isla , cancion ... as he passed it for me , I pass it for you if you like

Thanks, I have it. It’s good stuff. The only defect is, the transition to bulerías at the end of the alegrías is clumsily notated: it should carry straight on, with the bars starting on the 12 instead of the 1.

Gerardo Nunez Encuentro Book/DVD, the better you get the more you find yourself
revisiting it. At least that's my experience.

I second Jeff's recommendation. Since there's a lot of intermediate to advanced material, however, it might be good to ask for recommendations with respect to a specific style. I have the impression some people here clearly prefer the more traditional styles of flamenco, whereas others (like me) like our flamenco with lots of nuevo.

I agree with whats been said about the Nunez book and DVD . I got it five years ago and each year I spend more and more time with the exersices well woth the investment for the future _ but alot of advanced material ,I,ll be working on it for years to come .

And Paul is that Paco Pena book still avalible to buy ?
I mean the one in standard notation not Toques Flamencos
