Paco de Lucia to Play Washington, DC...
My flamenco guitar teacher, Paco de Malaga, is a good friend of Paco de Lucia and spoke with him on the telephone the other evening. Paco told me that Paco de Lucia advised that he was scheduled to perform at Strathmore Music Center in Bethesda, Maryland (a suburb of Washington, DC) on Wednesday, 18 April 2012. So for those who are, or will be, in the Washington, DC area at the time, something to look forward to.
Cheers,
Bill

Eeeeeexcelent. So apparently his recent Canadian tour was not his North American last.

And I am really hoping he comes back to Ontario! Ottawa was bloody cold when he was here but it was a bit of an anomaly. Despite this, the dancer was shivering! Paco's first words were "It's too cold to play flamenco"
