slothead tuners-weight and maker?

So for a Flamenco, i assume the weight of tuners(slothead) is an important thing-correct?
Is it better to have less weight?

From which company have you found excellent slothead tuners:
1)waverly
2)sloane
3)others?

Has anyone used the new Schertler's?

Last question:

As a builder, do you find the "3 on a plate" or the single tuner for each hole, makes a difference?

thankyou
d

Mid range cost Gotoh tuners are quite light, my first choice for flamencos unless some one requests a higher priced tuner. Sloanes are nice, slightly heavier.
Three on a plate for traditional looking a flamenco.

Mid range about $70 Gotoh tuners perform the best and is what I recommend. Alessi makes flamenco tuners check their site, no idea the cost but its probably your first born child and I don't know anyone in North America that stocks them.
