I know, Chiste. I just posted that video as a joke (with the guy talking about vibrato and referring to it as tremolo).

Hey Romb , I have always played tremolo with freestrokes , and always developed pain during long passages . during my little bass excursion I was messing around with some slap technique , I took that method of propelling your thumb at the strings with a flick of the wrist and started using restrokes and flamenco tremelo . It felt very natural and sustainable .

I find it interesting that flamencos who are very particular about rhythm , let thier tremolo be expressive . And classical players who are very particular about expression play thier tremolo with strict rhythm .
