Documentary on flamenco in USA

Filmed this last year but the producers are still trying to raise funds for the full project.

If I start generating income soon, I'll pitch in for sure. Olé Ricardo!

This project is still on going. I will be in Pittsburgh next week Monday through thursday doing some final interviews with singer JESUS MONTOYA, and some performances there too. Anyway the local singer from Malaga that is featured in the film MANOLO LEIVA has passed away. Fortunately his legacy will be preserved when this project is finished. Here is a link, and if you scroll down there is a video link (the one above is dead) and at :34 you see Manolo singing with Marija Temo on guitar:

How much more is needed? When you click on the link, it says the pledged goal has been met. And when do they expect to complete it?

It's great that the promo opens with your Rodena, and it's good to see Edwin dancing, as well. I'll look forward to this.

Sorry, the top post of the thread is from LAST YEAR. Goals were met. I just responded the other day (my last post on this topic) because Manolo LEIVA died, who appeared in the vid clip.

That's cool. I'm glad he's remembered on the film.

It's also cool that Marija's in it. I'd heard about her but had never had the opportunity to attend one of her workshops or see her play live. And there aren't many female flamenco guitarists with visibility,...

I'd also like to say that the production looks solid. Among other things, the camera angle from the bridge while you're playing looks really good.
