hmmm heard about this before along with other stuff "claimed to be" like The Jersey Devil and Dover Demon etc.......
and I say ...Hmmmmm... Wikipedia says
Thunderbird is a term used in cryptozoology to describe large, bird-like creatures, generally identified with the Thunderbird of Native American tradition. Similar cryptids reported in the Old World are often called Rocs. Thunderbirds are regarded by a small number of researchers as having lizard features like the extinct pterosaurs such as Pteranodon. Although reports of Thunderbird sightings go back centuries,[1] due to the lack of scientific evidence (such as a fossil record), the creature is generally regarded as a myth. This article deals with modern sightings (the last 200 years) of such a creature, reported as real, as opposed to mythological accounts, though believers in the phenomenon often use the Native American legends in attempts to support their claims.
To me that photo looks edited. I've seen another one that looks more convincing but I read that it was a couple of civil war nerds who staged the photo during one of their 're-enactments'. But then again.. man HAS had contact with a lot of weird beasts. Dodobirds, Mammoths, perhaps giant south american sloths and who knows what.
sorry mate if I don't understand what you mean with that Neil Young comment. does it refere to some real event that he had some strange encounter of that kind or you only making fun again?
cause I didn't paste this photo for fun, nor I believe it would be a fake.
as a matter of fact, during late 60ties of 19th century, the overall looks of pteranodon was not at all known not even by scientists, not mentioning some peasants or soldiers would have reconstruct the animal in such reallistic manner...
I guess you're too young to have heard it....but I always wondered what the "big birds" were....
Now I know.
We don't have 'em here in Scotland. (by the coast)
Only seagulls mainly... (where I am anyway)
And some of 'em are bloody huge!
A few years ago, there were a couple of them pecking at some rubbish bags I'd put out. I went out to chase them...but they just stood their ground and stared at me with beady eyes and huge, razor sharp beaks, as if they were thinking.. "Oh..so you feel LUCKY punk?...OK come on then.."
ORIGINAL: M.S.A. what's wrong with assumption Earth is living organism of entirely different grade and it goes through various changes during her life, that it grows and reacts?
If so, what do you want to say with that? Do you know anything other than that it is "a living organism" etc.? Can you explain the things that science can explain today? How exactly does your theory contradict anything in todays science?
Im my experience some theories cannot be proven. I could say i see some green monsters, that are impossible to detect with anything and that nobody except me can see... theres no way to prove im wrong.
We don't have 'em here in Scotland. (by the coast)
No, but you got NESSY and now you gonna tell me that doesnt exist !!! waaaaa
All this conspiricy theory stuff is great the world wouldnt be the same without it
David Icke's --BBC reporter-- claims that humanity is actually under the control of dinosauroid-like alien reptiles who must consume human blood to maintain their human appearance. Icke theorizes that the reptilians came here from the constellation Draco. Like most conspiracy theories, falsification of Icke's hypotheses is nearly impossible, but Icke continues to sell books and give speaking engagements based on concepts ranging from the New Age to his political opinions.
and of course......
Apollo 11 Moon Landings were faked by NASA
Proponents of the Apollo moon landing hoax accusations allege that the Apollo Moon Landings never took place, and were faked by NASA with possible CIA support.
wonderful , you can waste a lot of tiome checking out all this stuff.........
Oh yeah I forgot the best one .......One day I will be really good at playing Flamenco guitar .....
I watched the Youtube clip for the full 10 minutes of the growing Earth with rapt fascination.
Where did the water to fill the oceans appear from as if by magic?
With no mechanism to create new continental crust, and with tens of millions of years of weathering and erosion, the continental landmasses remained the same size over time?
Please explain the Pacific 'Ring of Fire', which is demonstrably not a scientific 'conspiracy', without tectonic plate subduction zones?
higher tempereature will cause condensing of the water
water + higher temperature = evaporation, not condensation, at atmospheric pressure. Basic physics
quote:
not unwise to expect some new material comes to existence every now and again during the ages... or rather continuously
What is the process?
quote:
in what sense the ring of fire would be relevant in this case?
The Pacific 'Ring of Fire' is very relevant because it's evidence of a number of destructive plate margins which, according to the theory you expound, do not exist.
quote:
to me no problem to see this theory as utmost relevant
I never said "BURN HIM"... The ideas you espouse are just as out there as the Heave's Gate folks. Look where that led them - I hope they really did get on the space ship.
Not only does it not pass any rudimentary science, it doesn't pass the smell test either.
