Kick A** Cante Accompaniment

Arcangel and Paco Fernandez

There's such sensitive musical communication between them, check out moments like 1.43

I didn't notice anything special at that mentioned time. Is it just me?

Plus, what is that form of cante? Sounds like Seguiriya in MAJOR to me! Does something like that exist? Never knew about that...

it is actually quite subtle, they just shift so perfectly together. The whole performance is full of these moments.

As for the palo I don't know, is it Liviana or Serrana?

It is called "Cabal". Can't remember the inventor but I am sure norman knows. It is very typical way to end siguiriyas actually.

But to have the WHOLE seguiriya that way? Hence, the palo of its own right, Cabal? Kabal used to be a Mortal Kombat character, by the way.

Ah yes that was the guy who created that cante. He was from triana. Was killed in the 1860's by a ninja samurai...
