I'm suscribed to the newsletter reguraly sent by Beau Bledsoe about Salvador's work, and today I got this :
Vicente Amigo and Salvador Castillo
Vicente played a concert last week in Morelia, Michoacan. There he played the above pictured Flamenco negra guitar and declared the guitar's sound "very Flamenco and comforable to play".

RE: Guess what guitar Vicente played... (in reply to beno)
Awwww! I so happy for him! I'm very glad that salvador is getting recognition now. The man is a hard worker and makes bitchin guitars. I will never sell mine =)

Nice to meet the stars! But be careful, maybe he shows just professional behavior. If somebody puts a guitar in his hands he will of course say that it is "very flamenco and comfortable to play"...because hes professional and polite. That allows no other option. What should he say if it would be a bad guitar? "oh.. the guitar you have made is....lower class.. nah..not good..". <-- Thats no option. So.. it says not too much about Castillo guitars.. Be careful.
