Rondeña recommendation

hello mates ,
I thought it's time to play some Rondeña , so I'm searching for a nice Rondeña to work on but I'm kinda lost .
so if there is a good Rondeña on your mind ( not for beginners ) and the notes/tabs are available and it's played by someone ( so I can listen to it first ) plz lead me to it .
btw I can get my hand on all the Encuentros ( I have some and can get the rest of my friends ) so if there is a nice Rondeña in the Encuentros versions that would be good too.
thanx in advance
Elie

Seems you're already started on the great 'Alameda vieja' by Moraito but just in

case you want another very beautiful Rondena try Pepe Habichuela 'Canta la Guitarra'

from the album 'Pepe Habichuela en rama' . It's in the book " Pepe Habichuela

Esencias" transcribed by Alain Faucher.

For anyone in London Socrates is a great player, highly recommended.

Hello Stu,
no My friend I don't live in London, but my uncle lives there ( I can stay at his place ) so I'm trying to get some days off my job to travel and attend the course that was the reason of my " mmm London "
I really think that Alameda vieja is hard for beginners , but a good beginner player may handle it , I mean it really has some strong picados. , btw If I'm attending the course I will contact you .. hope you don't mind that .

Hello Orsonw,
thank you for recommending that piece it's so beautiful, I just got the album and the book
actually no I didn't start with Alameda vieja, I'm still thinkin wat to start with
so far I gathered the tracks and the tabs of :
-Canta la Guitarra by Pepe Habichuela
-Alameda vieja by Moraito
-Sierra del Agua by vicente Amigo
but didn't decide wat to start with coz I'm still finishin paso doble /Gerardo.

btw I don't wanna start a new thread to ask this ques so I'll ask it here.. Wat palo is paso doble(Gerardo Nunez) ? it's not flamenco right ? is it tango-argentina ?or something else ?
thanx , Elie

RE: Rondeña recommendation (in reply to Elie

Thank you all for helping me not just to choose a Rondeña but also to find out a new amazing albums I didnt have before you rock guys .

after days of listening to the tracks many times per day I decided to start with Sierra del Agua by vicente Amigo // worms transcription seems accurate // because it really attracted me . Canta la Guitarra & Alameda vieja are really amazing and surely I'll be working on them later
the palo Rondeña is so amazing its so deep and meaningful nd from now on it will be one of my fav palos.
btw Rondena para Sabicas played by Gino D'Auri is so charming but I couldn't find an accurate tab .

thanx n good luck everyone.
elie
