There its very different from e.g. Sevilla. Yes there are tablaos, but its extremely expensive there. Not like spain. You wont find much stores for guitars. Mainly the women are crushd on flamenco and learn dancing. But in 9 of 10 cases without a guitarist. There are hundreds of dance schools..and the female japanese dance teachers are all looking like spaniards coz of the makeup..it was ..amazing.. There are flamenco yelow pages with photos. Try to get one and just pass by some locations..But overall, its a little disappointing.
There are better players than tanaka. Hes just known coz of his own youtube commercials.
They also continously let spaniards come over and work fom them as teacher and let them dance in these expensive tablaos. (very expensive) Always around 1-2 years continuously.
Chicuelo is very often there.
In tokyo I dont go for flamenco anymore,..there are other things which are interesting.. even more than the few flamenco that you will rarely find there.

Maybe I'll just stick with buying some cheap cameras and electronics.

If you come from Europe... its maybe cheaper at the moment to buy electronics in Europe than over there. When I was there this year..the euro was pretty weak. But for food you are in heaven there. And its cheap!

So, go for food! (Not only sushi! There is so much different stuff!)
