guitar on fire!! 

haha, made ya look.
No actual fires.. but I got a little more adventurous with my headstock this time around, with more veneers, a center stripe, and this "fiery" looking bookmatched Macassary Ebony headplate. The very center of the stripe and the top veneer is actually a light green poplar. Honest opinions welcomed

I like the colour. Some black rollers would look nice with it IMO.

hey andy, i like it. it had to grow on me. it looked like a racing stripe at first. but i like it. i cant wait to see the bigger picture.

Its a nice headstock with a beautifull veneer. BUT, I personally prefer headstocks without centerstripes etc.

Great work again. I would suggest to make your ramps a little more fluid. So the vaneers inside the ramp run smoothly into the head slots.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I probably won't do the center stripe thing again unless someone asks me, I kinda like a plain headplate myself actually.
Stephen, good point, I will try to blend the ramps into the slots more.

I'll post again when it's finished
