Proposition Palmas Loops

Wouldn't it be nice to have some proper palmas guiding tracks?
Thats what I thought at least.

I was thinking maybe we could have someone from the forum who has palmas experience record some loops for the different palos and we make a small donation? (Actually I was thinking about Jason, but I haven't asked him yet)

It also make the recordings for the challenges a bit more flamenco.

Are more people interested?

Hay Kozz,

once I had an idea to create some palmas tracks, but I am lazy to do it because it needs time to create.
It is about cutting any flamenco track starts with palmas with no guitar then the guitar starts to play after one or two loops..... then take the clip and multiple it, but the main work I think it will be in vanishing the gaps between the clip and the copy next.

I think the idea works but need time.hope someone do it and share.

Yeah Kozz... I am, but the truth of all these compás loops and backing tracks is that they are rigid and immovable, whereas in real life people listen and give and take and co-operate.

So it is a plastic sense of reality IMO, a bit like a singer trying to sing to a karaoke track.... but nevertheless a good practise tool.

cheers,

Ron

i dont get it. what would you do differently from the ones already available?

do you mean make proper compas tracks for the challenges? that would be cool. i have a cajon and two hands and recording equipment, but im not really good at using any of those things.

Hi Kozz,
Jason has them all available on itunes. Do a search for caminos flamencos compas tracks.... They are very good. Then all you need is some software to play around with the tempos and you r set.

My idea was to have real palmas, sound different every clap. With most loops they are also rigid in volume.
I'll check "caminos flamencos compas tracks", thanks!
