Help to find a Guitar
Hay amigos,
I am going to buy a flamenco guitar in 800-1000$.but I don't know what is the best choice,I don't have much friends play guitar so I didn't try many guitars.
I will be thankful if you help me to find the best guitar.please provid me what are the good choices and what is beter to avoid....there is no advertisement policies here so feel free to mention ;)
I don't know which brands are available where you live, but in Holland flamenco guitars are relatively expensive. However, I could recommend Alhambra, which never sounds bad, but lacks a little personality for my taste. I own a Sanchis blanca myself, which costs a little more than you intend to spend. Sounds not particularly beautiful, but loud. It takes some work to get the sound I like. Besides that one I've got a Burguet negra, which sounds a lot better, but costs a great deal more than $ 1000. Finally, I've got the guitar Richard Heeres taught me to make. I named it after my other love.
Thanks, man...you read my mind , here in Syria there is no variation in brands...we have Alhambra , some models of Cordoba but they are expensive much higher than buying online.
I tried to buy a used one but flamenco guitarists here are not good number of people and evrey one of them own just about two guitars so he has nothing to sell....
so finally I am going to buy online a brand that may no one have this guitar alover the city...
Well if your willing to buy online then you might want to check la falseta. Tom is pretty nice and can make some recomendacions based on what your price range is... you might like the the Francisco Navarro guitars he seems to make pretty good guitars and has an entry model for 900 dollars dont know if that has changed. Then theirs the shipping dont know if that will send you off your budget.
