Ouch!!
I made us a delicious tortilla de patatas Unfortunately I managed to remove a sliver off my thumb while slicing the potatoes So no more pulgar for a while ...
I was cooking for a dinner party yesterday and was convinced I was gonna slice myself....but luckily got through all the cutting without doing it, only to pick up a pan whos handle had been over the gas hob!!! big burn across my index finger on my left hand!!!! no barre for me for a while!
Especially those gizmos advertised on shopping TV for 19.99 (whatever currency)
In the kitchen there is practically nothing you cannot do using the most basic of utensils.
I'm so practised now, I can cut practically transparently thin slices of garlic using my trusty serrated kitchen knife.
You forget you are a guitarist and therefore have a much higher level of hand control than most people (including stupid TV chefs who try to do do cutting and chopping at lightning speed to impress the even more stupid audience..)
(A cook's version of super fast picado IMO...Used too often and for no real purpose.. )
This must be a bad week for everyone! The other night I went to go grab something off my desk and slipped.... Unfortunately when I slipped my thumbnail was the first thing to come in contact with the desk and ultimately snapped in half
Although my nails grow relatively quickly and I should beable to get my sound back in about a week
