Paco Pena Movie

Hey mates,

I came across a movie on Paco Pena's website. I checked it out, but I was not able to identify any of the palos that were being played (or maybe just very few). Most of them were new to me or were remodeled versions of the palos I know (where the compas was made really vague). Can anyone have a look at the movie and maybe tell me what palos are being played at what time points in the movie? I would be very grateful. If it's too much work, just give me a few hints. Thanks.

Great movie Ramzi!

Thanks for posting that.

As far as I can make out it's the "Holy Trinity" of Tangos/Solea/Bulerias with a strong Bulerias flavour going through it all.

Add a good Siguiriyas and end a Tangos in a good Rumba...and I doubt if the Gitano community would ask for anything more?

I can't really see them thirsting for a great Farruca myself?

cheers

Ron

The bulerias they sing in the beginning are called "jaleos extremeños".
