Oracion by Sanlucar

Hey peeps,

I just listened to Grisha's rendition of Oracion. As always, it was superb. But that is not the point of why I posted this message. When I watched the video, I was surprised that the introduction (about first 30 seconds or so) is IDENTICAL to the introduction of the Gipsy Kings' Love and Liberte. Has anyone noticed that? So who ripped who's tune off?? Manolo or Tonino? I doubt it was pure conincidence (and I don't know which piece was composed / released first, so this is why I'm asking).

Jesus you really have to ask???? Tonino is a HUGE aficionado and always puts little quotes into his rumbas. Lots of Nunez and Paco too. The letras of the Kings are also from flamenco, everything from Camaron to Chacon's Granaina. If you include My way and Bambuleo and all that, perhaps 80-90% of their music is ripped off from somewhere else. never take the copyright stuff serious when it comes to Gypsy Kings. Sort of like stealing from the mob, you know?

But here is a good one for you. There is a Jenifer Lopez (AKA J LO) pop tune that has a loop of Love and Liberte. So there you have Copywrite breached TWICE!!!!! Do you think Jay Lo even knows who Manolo Sanlucar is??????

Yeah right !and Lord of the Rings was made after the book.

They are called the Gipsy KINGS, u dont call people that steal kings.

Infact i think i heard of Gipsy kings before i heard of this Manlucar guy, that guy !!always beating his fists in his chest if u ask he'l probably tell he wrote the American national anthem too, enough allready.
