what kind of guitar

hey all, i dont know if this has already been asked (because im fairly new here), but what kind of guitar does everyone play or, to be more general, own?

Just Flamenco guitars?

I own a Yamaha CG171SF Flamenco blanca. But one day I hope to upgrade to a Conde Hermanos or an Anders Blanca.

Better learn how to play first, though! There's nothing worse than a tw*t with a thousand pound guitar that he can only play 2 chords on!

As for other guitars, I own Gibson SG, a Hohner GT3 (Steinberger Headless liscenced copy), and I've just sold my Ibanez electro-acoustic... she was a beauty!

LOL, well, actually I was referring to myself... its so easy to fall in love with a great guitar, and hope it will turn you into Paco De Lucia. But in the back of your mind, you always know that a great guitar will not necessarily make you a great player!

I have a few axes. My gig guitar is a Cordoba Gypsy Kings model. I never thought I would be caught dead with one, but they have a cutaway so they're great for jamming. You can plug it right in and not have to worry about mics. Plus it's very light to carry and play.

I also own a Francisco Navarro, a very nice looking negra. Which I am thinking about selling. This was the easiest to play guitar I ever owned until I got...

A 2003 Tezanos Perez flamenco. This thing is pure butter. A gorgeous guitar with good tone for classical or flamenco. Kind of a hybrid.

I got my "Anders" and my Alhambra 7FC as flamencos.

AND some electrics and so on. Im to lazy the type

The guitar looks really cool. If it sounds so good too and its good playable. Than you have a great guitar.
If you wanna sell it in future, you should take away the black golpeador. Behind it, there could be all kind of damages..I would never buy a guitar which has a white or black golpeador coz of the hidden damages.

doitsujin, i actually had the black golpeador installed by art valdez out here in LA, there was a clear one on (which was just fine)... when i got her, i just felt she needed the black...so there NO damages of any kind behind it...but i wont sell it anyways, and the sound is quite interesting, its hard for me to describe (but its a good kind of interesting)...but thanks!

To solve the problem of the 2 chord experience (See JBAshorun and TANunes above) I learn't how to do Barre chords. found the A shape and E shape to be very effective although a little limiting as I have to play in a major key all the time
