how to develop speed in right hand m... 
hi guys

I wonder if there are any guidelines for beginners as far as how to develop speed when one learns to play rumbas? Do you think guys like the one from the clip develop speed by using metronome often and increasing tempo ? Can you share any secret in relation to how you developed speed for rumbas?

Yes.

Also, try to make your right hand movements as small as possible to achieve the sound you need, thereby economizing on movement and helping develop speed. Be patient...

thanks for reply, do you think it is important to develop smooth playing in slow tempo before going to fast tempos?
