My first recital

As a beginner I was able to find somebody willing to listen to me playing.

Post some material (audio or video). I would love to experience what you can do, no matter where you are in your flamenco journey.

Ramzi,

Thanks for the encouragement. I have been wanting to make some recordings to help with my practicing but have not got around to it yet.
I don't have a good recording setup, either an Ipad or cheap USB mic.

If you're feeling a bit flush with your money the Zoom R8 gives a fun introduction to multi-track recording. For example, with it's metronome and loop function you can 3 syncopated palmas loops and then record some guitar on the other tracks. That's what I did for the last challenge - definitely more fun and challenging than just using someone else's palmas tracks.

That said, it does help to have a computer to move material off the recorder, I don't think an Ipad would permit that.

But hey, Ipad recordings are not that terrible for starters. Fire away, it would be cool to hear your uploads and see your rabbit!

I have been looking for a better recording setup without spending too much $$.
I found something called Rhode iXY. Seems impressive for the money.
