Intro to "Recuerdo a Patino"

I just put on new bass strings so the guitar did not stay in tune. Nothing new though.

Very funny.

Is he marking the compas or making a foray into cante?

great playing. What's up with the wear above the strings or is it without a golpeador?

Great playing Juan, lovely thumb work. That intro is more difficult than it seems so well done!

I'm assuming you are referring to the yamaha. It has no golpeador. I've beaten the guitar to death. . I've had it for over 30 years I think. It doesn't sound so bad actually.

Thank you John. I appreciate your comments always. Thanks Lenador. @ Dave: I don't know but sometimes I really think that this cat loves Flamenco.

I like to practice tricky sections of pieces slowly.(At least I find this part to be a bit challenging at full tempo) Here is the end part to Paco de Lucia's "Recuerdo a Patino" at slow tempo...
I'm not sure what was the purpose of this upload but felt like sharing anyway...
