Hi mark I have about 8 sets of these to get through I am currently alternating changes with luthier 20's ( my default go to string ) They were suggested by the previous owner of my media luna as the best string for that guitar Treble wise I think he's right though the luthiers also sound great But the red card do have a beautiful bright sizzle to them on this guitar I also like the feel of rectified nylon I can leave the trebles on for a month or two ( i have the guitar in my hands about between 5-9 hours a day either teaching, accompanying or gigs ( Loud, bright but with a sweetness when needed ... Very expressive string .., tension feels great The basses are bright at first but round off after a week or two Great sound ( maybe a bit too bright at first ) but again powerful They will last me a few weeks before I need to change I think I'm leaning more towards the luthier as basses Also tried combining sets which also seems to work My opinion ? I think they are a great string for sure particularly the trebles Once the 8 sets are done I will keep buying them but also use the luthiers as a primary string choice Hope that helps
