What's so bad about this? I think it's a pretty nifty little device for kids, females, and newcomers. Not everyone has the finger strength to fret the strings immediately or have hand injuries that don't allow it either. Seems like a pretty simple way to get people strumming and playing the basic cowboy chords and when ready all they have to do is remove the device when they want to start working on fretting the strings themselves. It's easy for us who have played a while to think it's gimmicky but it's a learning tool just like anything else.

If I ever have kids I am gonna give them wheelchairs to ease the transition into a car.

And maybe fit them with one of those Stephen Hawking translators to make them more articulate and expressive.

And feed them through a tube in their plastic bubble.

I have this app on my computer called Windows Media Player.

It will play guitar music, and you dont even have to touch the guitar at all.

Genius!

This idea is nothing new.

I remember when the guitar first started to become popular in the 1950's in England, there were cheap kids guitars being sold with the same "push 1, push 2 push 3" device. I think it worked O.K. for basic 'three-chord-trick' accompaniment.

This is like asking a Robot to screw your girlfriend and you watching it, instead of using your penis and doing it yourself.

What comes next? A tube connected to the toilette on one side and plugged in to your ar.sehole on the other side with integrated suction function, so that you don't need to stand up and actually walk to the toilette and press a little, and instead can simply continue watching TV while "Toilette Buddy" does the rest for you?

Move your lazy fingers and learn to play a simple C chord for gods sake.
Even ET with 3 fingers can do that.

C, D, G, A have written many a song. I'm not sure what chords exactly it plays but my guess is those four which are the main "cowboy chords".

but not so many flamenco songs....

Anyway why not just tune your guitar to a major chord and you would then have more chords available by just barring with one finger up and down ...

and have the possiblity of using a slide, always good fun ......

Wowo that gives me a thought of '' Can you play flamenco with a slide '''

and did a little search ...and you will never guess whos name came up !!!!

That Strat is farting

But I am planning to build my own in a natural finish and rosewood fingerboard, with exposed pups (I think those are AMGs), aged scratchplate and knobs. Thanks for the reminder.

A "secret never before taught on the internet" is that Paco uses one of these.

You guys are ruining this for people who could eventually get interested in flamenco, especially females.

Remember kids, women don't like sex.
