RE: strange trend among dancers (in reply to kudo

I see the same thing with fashion nowadays - lack of taste. Men are dressed in some aweful unisex clothes and women are dressed in a very dull way (well , that is my opinion) and the dancers' outfits are simply the projection of that fashion mainstream in order to make Flamenco more contemporary.

However I must say that I did like the outfit of the first dancer in the first video , (ye ye , i know what you think) but she's got a great body shape , so why not to show it? (though accompanying her without missing some notes might be tricky )

Modern "flamenco" dance is una mierda, starting with Israel Galván. These "dancers" harm flamenco due to their influence on singers and guitarists.

Dancers such as El Junco, Juan Ogalla, his sister Pili, Andrés Peña, Fuensanta La Moneta, even Antonio Canales, maintain the tradition and dance better.

If everyone would only follow traditions we would all be dancing minuets.

Providing negative criticism is not a skill...

i agree, if i had a tomato, i would throw it on that silly jerk! I dont understand why people like his ****, look at that idiot here @1:20

Oh look, it's kudo being an arrogant idiot again. If you at least had earned your right to be one...but you spend most of your days sitting on your bed wearing a wife beater and record video playbacks to 20 year old Moraito falsetas. That is, if you're not going around ****ting on artists who perform on a level you can't even dream of.

I dont like it, but it should be clear that these artists arent some hacks that dont know what traditional flamenco is, like for instance the fakemenco people. I feel these kind of performances only continue how flamenco dance has developed a) in itself, incorporating more and more movements from other styles b) as a conceptual performance, meaning it kinda moves more towards "theatre" (?). Some of it is cool, some is more cheesy and pretentious. Its a complete waste of time to discuss this with traditional fanboys though.
