The Primera Especial Carpio is equivalent in looks , playability and sound to a 6000 euro Conde: I have played them side by side. However this guitar is not a Primera Especial and you cannot expect it to sound like one. However Carpios are well constructed and sound good. At this price it would be difficult to suggest a better guitar. Have you thought of contacting Sanchez Carpio directly? They might be willing to select a good instrument in your range and send it to you. Sean

Looking at the makers website, and sent an E mail...Problem is, shipping from Spain is like $350 for a guitar!!! It's unreal. Ole-Flamenco told me once, with the amount he ships, like $120.00... So if I HAD to return it, maybe I can use his account, because it would cost me like $350 on my own!! I don't understand why this stuff is soooo expensive. Thanks guys

I've repaired a Vicente Sanchis. I think it was a 3F. The sound was OK. Not very loud and the wood was very poor quality.
