Anyone know how to contact Alain Fau...

I will be in Paris soon and would like to try and meet him. Please PM me if you have any way of getting in touch. If you can give me an intro, even better. I might be able to get a video interview for us.

I emailed him last February about transcriptions for additional pieces from "Jucal" and "Aquadulce". Unfortunately, he said everything he has is on his website (i.e. no more from those two albums).

Didn't have time in the end. The wife was not keen on this distraction from our vacation

Does anyone here know Faucher? Is it a realistic possibility that, if most everyone here agreed on a song, he could be persuaded to do a transcription for it? This wouldn't necessarily amount to actually commissioning him to do a song. But if he knew X number of potential customers were interested, perhaps he'd be willing to do it.

Gerardo's "Piedras Negras" and "Hacia Mi", for starters; also, some songs from Tomatito's "Aguadulce". And then there are some other contemporary players, like Chicuelo and Antón Jiménez, for whom there are few, if any, transcriptions.

Chicuelo has a book/video by Encuentro Productions.

I got sent a review copy. I thought it was terrific.
