Krazy glue dry time

you put some glue on your nails, then how long do you usually
wait till you start filing and playing guitar?

Recently ive tried to prevent some pitting in my index nail, but i think
i might be using hastily

Open air, give it 15-20 minutes per coat. I use one coat before driving to the gig, but must keep your hand flat so it doesn't bubble up in one spot. That bubble takes longer to dry of course.

Make sure it is fresh glue too. Old bottles take longer to dry and sometimes never dry correctly and you are left with very flakey weak protection.

I saw a luthier use an accelerator to speed up the time it takes super glue to dry. If it's safe to use on skin or nails it could be useful. Might be worth looking into...

Play too much?? Make sure it is FRESH. Treat the glue bottle like food. Keep it in a plastic bag when not using. It will dry better and last longer. Normal playing should last a week or so. Lots or rasgueado or for dancers, one day, or one concert.

hmm thanks that could be right, I indeed use some very old SuperGlue ®©TM ( )
I'm going to try to find a new one with a brush maybe that helps.

btw I don't play that much, its just that my thumbnail seems to wear faster then it grows. It ruin the curve and shape of my nail
