My friends get to work with PEPE de ...

I am so excited, proud and happy for them !!
Adrian van Nunen a cajon player and Roshanne ...both were in my show...and i work with adrian regularely...very nice guy and great cajon player, very sencitive to dynamics which i like

man theres always so much flamenco in Adelaide i am so proud to live here...not bad for the other side of the world

I always thought that the fact that Pepe is Pacos brother kind of worked more against him then for him...i mean it would be great getting started and to a certain extent but then u cannever escape it..people will always assume u in there because u are his brother rather then his own skill, which i think is very high, i like his tone very much.

Pretty cool, Flo. It's nice to know you keep good company. Pepe will always be living in PDL's shadow, but he won't be able to hide behind him during performances. Give us a review after the show.

I think he benefited much from being in Pacos group, on his albums etc... i would guess everybody working with Paco got a boost in popularity? Ramon was guitarrist and even more in the background. But would he have been more popular when he wasnt his brother? I dont think so.

Anyways, big congrats dude!! Im really happy for ya, must be very exciting.

I hope it will be mucho inspiring!

excellent florian, and really cool that the scene in Adelaide is great, ill be in Sydney , when i can be bothered getting on a plane from the UK, may get up and check out a perfrormance of yours and say hi over a beer!.

I was always happy when he shut up on stage as well as the ugly flute and the mini-sax in the sextet.

hey thanks guys i will pass on your nice comments to them i am sure they will appreciate it as i can only imagine they going to be nervous and scared as hell...

We are very proud of our litlle scene, i guess competition and gelousy etc.. can work wonders for a scene

So Pepe is doing the support act for Arte Kanela? Did Richard set this up? I know he was back in spain again recently? I love watching Richard play.

with all the respect to Richard not as far as i am concerned , Richard might be a good guitarrist, greate infact.. but thats flamenco royalty we talking about..i wonder how Manolo feels going on after Pepe de Lucia

I doubt it, i dont know...i know Roshanne has worked with Oscar Guzzman at the Darwin Festival when it was on..i assume Roshane organised Oscar and Oscar organised Pepe

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure it will be a good night with two great groups. No brisbane show?
