Antonio El Titi

Hi,

Thought I'd point out this guy. He has a light, fun, modern take on stuff, with some uncommon instruments thrown in. I don't like all of it, but he's a talented player and definitely flamenco in almost all ways. And yes, it appears he is "finger-synching" on these videos, but whatever. I know that some people will like him if they haven't already heard of him.

and then listen to him harmonize over Paco's classic, very neat at times:

cheers,

Con

So the person we actually see playing in the videos is Antonio El Titi? And these are his compositions? Or is the guy in the video playing along with pieces by Antonio El Titi, and is in fact not the man himself?

Yep, that's the guy. Here he is performing live with his band:

He used to have more audios on youtube that were quite good but he took them down for some reason.

Really nice player Con,
Good stuff, but I can assure you that in Glasgow "El Titi" would not be a great stage name.

cheers,

Ron
