Visualizing Sound

I know some luthiers are into sprinkling sand on their soundboards and visualizing the wave patterns. I don't do that but I thought this was interesting and fun.

I'm pretty sure this isn't entirely real, there's another video out there debunking a lot of these super perfect patterns morphing super quickly. There's some pretty cool non-newtonian fluid videos too. I've been meaning to try it myself, I've got a sub woofer and corn starch lying around here somewhere.....

I remember a lady luthier, she was sprinkling iron grain on a unfinished violontop and makes it vibrate to find the behaviar of it.
Don't know if she had any followers; just an idea.

Thank you for the link, very interresting. I have to reread it because my english could be beter.
Still I did find that part about the 432 tuning is very special. This week I did read a review about the 'EVO server', it translate CD music from 440Hz to 432Hz because that should sound more pleasing. So I tried with one of my guitar this tuning and indeed, to my ears is sound was very different in the good way.
BTW as far as I know: most modern orchestra's tune to 442Hz. So higher, that should make the sound more briljant.
