I apologize for that. I know it can slightly detract from the playing.

All 3 were great! I enjoy the peacefulness of this type of music,, and I understand the beat/ rhythms , more internally than ,trying to follow flamenco,,, more listening time needed , I guess

Thank you Erik.. Thanks SLJ... Many people find Renaissance music boring but I find something appealing to it. I just cannot get away from Flamenco though. It completely sucks you in and makes you forget about everything else.

well its cool you can play both. I thought I could play guitar until I started on this stuff.

It's far from boring and happens to be part of the music i grew up with... my father is specialized in early "guitar" music and owns and plays various modern day copies of the instruments involved. His 80 year old hands find it dificult play the guitar anymore (to painful) but most fortunately he can still play his beloved Bach suites on his lutes. He played and studied early music for 60 years and since the 70ties had various performances playing Bach, Weiss, Dowland and various other composers, both solo and with singers (he also made a recording playing the lute in a big orchestra).

Very nice there Erik. I enjoyed reading your post. I wish I could play the Lute. Talking about the Baroque period, just imagine watching Bach and Weiss compete in improvisation.
